Percussion
Percussion instruments form the basis of many songs and provide the beat that underlines everything. They can be steady and constant or unrelenting and urgent, in nature. A good sense of rhythm and timing is essential for any percussionist and we help develop that in students. We teach the students everything from simple 4/4 beats to complex syncopations. Many of our exercises are targeted towards building speed and strength, essential for the task. By joining us, you will be able to play a wide variety of percussive instruments.
